Upload photos and draw again

Is it really only the end of week one of lockdown? Today I hoped to draw a bit and upload my latest camera photos to offer more drawing options as stopping anywhere to draw live is not allowed under lockdown conditions here in England currently.

A slow start to my day then some housework came before any art work. We went out for a walk that included a short drive ie less than 10 miles in total to use the car and visit Studland Bay. The lowest tide I have seen there on one of our visits.

We didn’t walk as far as recently but I did do some stretches with my leg afterwards. I took several pics of the dunes with dark grey clouds beyond. We also saw a horse and rider come and ride along the sands. When getting a takeaway drink from the Knoll beach cafe I mentioned the napkins that I received the message about the other day – the team on today were around two years ago when I did these and remembered them.

Once back home I watched some scaffolders opposite and managed to capture one using a grinder / saw inc sparks cutting off a piece of pole. I then uploaded photos and set about doing some drawing which included a photo of Swanage National Coastwatch station from yesterday, the sunset today as I was drawing and a piece of unused boats at Swanage sailing club that was taken yesterday.

Some colour this time using my ProMarkers.

By looking back I saw that although I only drew on three days this week I have produced 13 A6 sketch / drawings which is a pleasing number and I finished the A3 foiling piece before these.

Tomorrow I plan to bring my Posca pens back from the shop for a lockdown art project involving a new outfit.
