Saturday at the shop and a fairly bleak forecast
The forecast was heavy rain until 10ish, rain until about 2pm and windy all day. In actual fact, yes it did rain a bit this morning but the town was fairly busy, had to be because people made it to us too.
So sales of cards mainly, commission collected and sales for other artist. I set about working on previous pieces as planned but as usual diverted from my plan as normal.
By late morning I was working sat outside the shop. The new Posca markers meant I had completed the water sports chest which is up for sale in the shop.
I added some more detail to the sealife box and light blue sea areas. I need some more ideas to add to two box sides, so this was put aside for another day.
Recently, while disposing of damaged frames I kept several backs from the frames to use for my signage instead of card as this will fare better in rain showers.
I replaced current signs and one I mislaid before last lockdown. Drawn in Posca pens onto wood. I am pleased with the outcomes and used the, this pm even if there were very few visitors about. By sitting outside the shop my outfit tends to pull people into the courtyard to investigate, much as I did when wearing outfits outside each huts previously.

I also finished the day with another anniversary commission to do and over a fortnight to complete it – I won’t wait that long.
Back at the shop on Monday and Tuesday and hopefully more working outside in the fresh air.
