Art for fun joy

In two days of half term – Saturday (Inktober day 23 ) and today Monday (Inktober day 25) I have hosted 31 participants for Art for Fun. It is amazing and so enjoyable as some adults and lots of children, many of whom are visitors on holiday, have joined in. Today on my way home I was even hailed loudly by name and told that two boys who came on Saturday will return on Wednesday. I have been messaged to check I am open and people saying hey will be down on certain days – fabulous.

So, while so many people are doing art for fun I am drawing less but interacting with the drawers and their parents / friends / partners / grandparents etc. . Sales are taking off and I have trounced last October’s takings already with less shop open days too.

It is such an enjoyable experience so thank you to all of my visitors it means a lot to me too.

So some examples from today:

These two girls drew a paper piece first then a wooden box.

Great ideas
The detail in the thought behind the sand mountain and the gold hidden within it were just two of the observations mentioned
I thought the cat(?) resembled Alan Measles

And many more…
