As we took a weather day today and stayed healthy by staying indoors and resting, my posts from earlier led to some self reflection, memories.
Realised coming up in the next 2 years I will hit a number of anniversaries which seem quite significant for my art making.
June 2015 – purchase of a small sketchbook ok and some fineliners as the first step to trying sketching to switch my brain off from work thanks to a teaching friend Lucie Golton’s suggestion.
- So this year will be the 10th anniversary of the start of what I consider my art journey – I will look at hosting an exhibition alongside Purbeck Art Weeks to display some of my early pieces.
2026 – exhibiting examples of my early drawings from en plein air / urban sketching trips – see if any of old original drawings will sell based on what I have achieved since?
2026 Purbeck Art Weeks will be my 10th consecutive year of participating.
September 1 will represent 5 years since starting AndyKnillArt Studio
December 31 2016 – leaving teaching behind
So in 2027 the 10th anniversary of the start of AndyKnillArt
2027 – celebrating the 10th anniversary of AndyKnillArt
