Custom clothing

Today I started a project for my self. Last year I had seen and started chatting online with El of Southbourne about her vintage workwear and looking at drawing on some of it. I bought myself a shop coat earlier in the year and today I started to add my work to it.

I have started with the chest pocket to have my logo colours and name on. Initial work is first few layers of paint only as it is going to soak into this fabric quite a lot.

So this project is now going to continue as I want to wear this in the shop. I also need to go into the shop and maybe a new layout of my half of the shop, change is needed so it doesn’t become too familiar and hopefully with staycationers we should have another busy summer like 2020.

I also have plans for a white boiler suit linked to watersports theme and have contacted a cafe / bar / restaurant in Poole about drawing from their premises when coffees are allowed to be dripping on site.

Hats and having more than the Jungle design one in the window of the shop, that was so that I have a hat to display what the custom hand drawn hats look like as all but my logo one have sold.

Also added to latest commission today with one aspect left to add and then I think it will be finished this week. Starting plans for the next commission at the same time and any other pieces to have in the shop but small and original rather than add too many more prints or cards to the portfolio yet.

Oh and on another tack this morning my new experiment of Tik Tok videos as @andyknillart is paying off as I have already had over 1000 video views which is very pleasing.
