Today Anne and I took my mother in law out for her first outing in over 14 months since her 98th birthday treat. She is 99, has come through covid and it was lovely to se ever enjoying her trip, thank goodness she got to enjoy such things again.
I did a sketch while we sat in the garden terrace at a local garden centre.
Other noticing today while we went for a walk on the pier and seafront.
Later I kayaked to the far end of the bay and back and met friends on the water to chat to and also watched a wakeboarder being towed successfully most of the time at the north end of the bay. I took some pictures and video clips which I posted on TikTok as they are too long for Instagram.
This evening we watched another in a series of Italian crime stories in which we notice clues to solve the murder. We also spoke with both of our sons and had good chats with each – family are important.
