Monday = shop, sales and new drawing
As many visitors have commented I am fairly prolific with new pieces of drawn work as I like to spend any shop / studio time producing new work as much as possible. I switch between projects often to keep my interest and motivation up.
Today quite a few visitors and good sales for a Monday plus lots of chats about where visitors have come from, interest in art, places to visit locally, how my art started, using ProMarkers…
Also after working on the Watersports boilersuit project on Saturday, today I chose to start a new A4 piece of one of my favourite local views. I have drawn it on two different style wooden boxes, this one if all goes well offers the option of original / giclee print and greetings card – I think a series of pieces based on this part of Swanage may be in the offing.
Linework went well and then I added a foreground tree layer after work on chippings and walling with bench. Using ProMarkers and fineliners it provided an ongoing chance to show my techniques to interested visitors.

Tomorrow the plan is to continue with this around the visitors / customers that come.
