Today at the shop three mums and seven children visited aged Four upwards and I managed to fit them around the two folding tables towards the back of the shop and was also able to seat them all.
They all had quite clear ideas to work on and two of them did a picture on both side of their sheet of paper. It was great to have such a great atmosphere in the shop.
Later Andreea who comes on her day off had her third visit and another excellent drawing.
I drew an A6 postcard piece of the Fisherman’s boats out on Peveril. I then started to work on a larger version of this which will go into more detail of the fishing equipment and the boats on the shoreline.
Having so many doing art for fun me at less interaction with the children and more with their mothers. To be honest coordinating such a group was a bit of a planning difficulty but we managed it and other visitors were able to visit the shop too.<div class='sharedaddy sd-block sd-like jetpack-likes-widget-wrapper jetpack-likes-widget-unloaded' id='like-post-wrapper-123416164-6066-61e71874c4d33' data-src='https://widgets.wp.com/likes/#blog_id=123416164&post_id=6066&origin=andyknillart.com&obj_id=123416164-6066-61e71874c4d33' data-name='like-post-frame-123416164-6066-61e71874c4d33' data-title='Like or Reblog'><h3 class="sd-title">Like this:</h3><div class='likes-widget-placeholder post-likes-widget-placeholder' style='height: 55px;'><span class='button'><span>Like</span></span> <span class="loading">Loading...</span></div><span class='sd-text-color'></span><a class='sd-link-color'></a></div>
