Shop manoeuvres
So we had quite a bit of light rain and drizzle today. It meant apart from one point Kate in the afternoon, despite being milder , it wasn’t suitable to sit outside. Two children did some art for fun today, their mum is also an artist who works in pastels and took part in Purbeck Art Weeks for he first time this year.
They, like most of the children this week, did their art in the shop. With the current layout I can put a table at the back of the shop but it restricts access to the toilet or kitchen areas.
So later in the day I reorganised the shop (advantage of own space that is not shared) so that for Christmas Eve and next week with a wetter forecast ahead I have more art for fun space.

These two tables in front of the A3 portrait print display will both offer Art for fun space inside / work room for me. Since the photos both tables are now parallel to the wall.

The table holds a display of easel canvases, some wooden boxes, strip pieces and A6 postcards, all original art as well as the two browsers and framed pieces on the wall.
There is more room for movement to enable some social distancing in addition to mask wearing in the shop. I will review the layout later in January and see if any changes are needed.
