Welcoming friends and repeat customers
Yesterday Rob and Charlie visited the shop, we had actually bumped into them as they parked up on the seafront as we were enjoying a pre work walk on the seafront.
Originally met and talked about my Rescue piece – Rob works full time for the RNLI on one of the London Thames stations on an E-class boat. They have become repeat visitors and customers and through social media contact friends too. This time there was no Bentley the sheep evident and apparently Hamish the Highland cow doesn’t travel as he is a doorstop and weighs too much to carry around.
Their feedback on my work is valued and they have bought a variety of cards, postcards and prints.
As an artist it is a joy and pleasure to welcome return visitors either to look at or buy art or take part in Art for fun. Ihave enjoyed this aspect of being in business for longer and becoming known to a wider audience.
Yesterday one of the Allsortd group came with their cousin to do some more art for fun. This is what I want to offer – a friendly and familiar art hub that promotes art as an enjoyable and relaxing activity and if they like my art and want to have some, that is a privilege for me too.
