Developing my sales opportunities
I now have work on display and for sale at HappyHay clothing in the Craft Courtyard Centre in Lytchett Minster. Hayley has become a friend after the last two seasons of Artisans on the Beach and this is her new business venture. I saw that another artisan friend was also setting up their own unit so knew Hayley might then have a space available and asked if that was the case.
Last Monday July 15 I took over some prints and cards speculatively to meet Hayley for a chat. We have agreed that I will rent some wall space and I will put my best selling prints, matching cards and the Santa Over… cards up for sale.
Indeed to develop some signage for the top of the display and also about pricing and a brief bio. Before Anne and I had got home that afternoon I had sold some cards and a print which was very encouraging.
I have also had contact for cards from a lady whose friend gifted a card to her – connections are so important when it comes to selling work.
