Water based activity art
During PAW 19 I received lots of praise about my work of boats and sailing from studio visitors. While I wait for the materials to start work on a new apron commission I decided to do some water linked pieces.
So far this has included the Shannon class lifeboat piece for a friend, my False Creek ferry piece based on memories from our trip to Vancouver and some new pieces:
Fishing hut (Chapmans Pool) mounted 20″ by 16″
This involved the complexity of the baskets and the wood of the shed.
Sailing – Competitive racing mounted 20″ by 16″
Based on some images from Around the Island race 2019.
Lifeboat on Trial Mounted 20″ by 16″
False Creek Ferry and Orcas mounted 16″ by 12″
Except for the lifeboat commission the other three will remain one off original pieces and are now for sale – if interested please contact me for details. The two 20″ by 16″ pieces are £250 and the 16″ by 12″ piece is £150.
