The importance of taking photographs
Today I have made good progress on a commission based around Swanage Bay. I now know the bay better but find that when drawing pieces that photographs help to add extra details of aspects that I can not envisage clearly.
This morning I had already made a slideshow of the particular focus in the bay I was drawing. This was then supplemented with reference to phone pictures that I store in Google and my camera pictures that are stored on the computer and iCloud.
The only danger with going through other photos is that you can get distracted by memories.
