Not all days are so exciting
Today was an admin day. Posting work to a client, invoices, ordering new stock, contacting clients re. Progress of projects, following up leads to sales enquiries.
The art was paused by awaiting feedback from clients, it has arrived so back to the drawing tomorrow.
Some chances to reflect, looking at the sales for this tax year even though it is going through its second lockdown which closes in on overtaking last year’s total because being in the shop plus greater awareness of my ‘brand’ and work is making its mark.
Also a memory today that just four years ago I was ‘broken’ and left teaching after 28 years and had no clue where my future lay. That at least is clearly in evidence – an artist, shopkeeper and semi retired with time to myself too.
