Art, copyright discussions, networking and then …lockdown 3.0
So a delayed walk this morning due to the rain meant I set off up to my studio space to work on the sailing piece and completed it.
In contacting the person who had posted the photo and finding out more about the event I discovered that the photo was copyrighted to a photographer, who I then contacted and over the period of the day have come to an arrangement of a payment I will make if I sell any images based on his photo.
I also networked with a number of contacts and members of the sailing community about extending my portfolio of boating pictures – several shared posts in their stories for me,on Instagram.
I have also joined up through an offer with inDorset to market my art business and the shop. This linked to the business network I belong to and had a zoom meeting for this evening although we were also all waiting for he PM’s announcement at 8pm for the as expected lockdown 3.0 news.
Exercise today was blustery and cold.
A cancelling of plans including a visit to my printer this week as part of post PM announcement – tomorrow lockdown 3.0 and a notice in shop to my customers on how to get hold of me.
Wishing everyone a healthy and careful new lockdown in England, if you need to chat message me.

GS It would be the same as we do to our sons, both in their 20s. In times of lockdown we encourage them to reach out to talk if they need to, they and keep days to a regular routine. We suggest aspects they could work on – usually not well received or just ignored but we keep trying. My mother in law on the other hand is pretty well self focused. If you have questions ask, I will do what I can – either through blog or email, up to you.

Oh, God. Lockdown 3.0!! Stay safe and keep creating!
Doing our best to stay safe as my wife is still able to visit her Mum at the moment who is 98
That’s so great! Could you ask her, if there’s any sort of message that she wants to give to a girl in her twenties!
