Open to new ideas

Today I have branched out to try a new platform where I am out of my depth but will learn what to do, at least roughly, going forwards. Several people have suggested that I use video more in my publicity and marketing as it gives an opportunity to get more of my character across and it is something I want to work on in 2021.

I am very aware that at 56 I don’t meet the age profile of most TikTok users but heh at heart I am just a big kid anyway and I take videoclips of the sea and areas around it everyday so combined with a chance to share more of my art it maybe a way to raise more awareness about my work. I am willing to try.

Obviously walking around in clothing with AndyKnillArt printed on it or hand drawn boiler suits and a hand drawn pith helmet make me more noticeable. I have an extrovert side and it has already shown that people have noticed me at events and remembered me and my art as well. I have always said that my philosophy is ‘Art for Fun’ so this should fit right in.

If any of you watch Tik Tok clips feedback is encouraged as well as welcomed. Yes my technique needs work, I need to understand the whole musical link aspect of things and I need to develop a consistent approach that people can grow to recognise.
