Mainly a day off work…

Friday, my birthday so not a day to do lots of work. I collected a parcel that couldn’t be delivered yesterday from the post office with picture mounts, left with a friend to collect in the morning so I can mount new prints and one of the originals too.

Great news as lady from ITV Meridian rang to confirm a reporter will be with me on Monday for the shop opening. Also an article in Dorset Biz magazine. So the PR investment is paying off. Hope there are some customers in on Monday to share this with.

For my birthday so far –

Cooked brekky, coffee in town and a beach stroll, kayak across bay to lunch at beach cafe, made some sandcastles, kayaked back from lunch, another seafront stroll and sorbet cone,

A fly in the ointment re communication from cotenant but not letting it drag me down – just wish I knew where their mindset came from.

Tomorrow back in the shop and final prep for Monday.
