Feedback, covid regs, prints, sketch, …
What is normally a non shop day became quite a busy workday. WhileAnne was out shopping this morningI was reading documentation about covid safety at work ready for Monday. The confused bit for meat present is the number of people in he shop which seems to be one bubble only at a time,not always easy to manage.
Then we were off to Upwey and Art 2 Card to collect my new prints and greeting cards based on ‘Last of the leaves’ and ‘Foil for life challenge’. The work all looks great, meanwhile at home parcels were due with new picture mount kits (have to collect from Post Office tomorrow) and new labels for the shop, my products and new business cards including my linktr.ee/AndyKnillArt QR code.
We then had lunch by the quay in Weymouth and found some interesting old architecture amongst the streets after a sketch of Deheers E bike shop and cafe which I gave to the lady from the cafe with my details on the back, she also gave me a business card. So the relaxation of sketching but also sharing work with a business who might like some artwork going forwards.
A great country drive back taking in the undulating landscape and the coast. Once home, I was out again this time kayaking in the bay and grabbing some shots from my phone of the water conditions.
A cup of tea and a missed call but email received about another possible press link for Monday when the shop opens – more news when / if confirmed and maybe make my hats and outfits even better known. Then a walk on the seafront together.
A leisurely evening. So normally a no work day but today had a lot of work aspects unit and not surprisingly leading up to Monday.
