Visit stockist and race photography

Thursday – not a work day. We woke early and had our customary cuppa watching the bay. We then made the most of the early sips shine and went for a walk around the bay and came home via a coffee stop. Then breakfast with the bay view.

Our morning / lunch was spent visiting our friend Hayley who stocks my art in her emporium in Lytchett Matravers at The Courtyard Craft Centre. A good chat over a cuppa and lunch. We then moved on to our Click and collect slot for our supermarket shopping. The trip out of and back into Purbeck was very pleasant.

Then I dropped off more dog friendly stickers to four more businesses that had contacted me yesterday.

This evening I had signed up for the second week as safety crew at the sailing club. much calmer conditions than last week. I now feel more at home with preparing the ribs and know where the equipment is kept. In the end we didn’t have enough experienced helms to crew a third boat so I helped launch and then decided I would borrow a club paddle and take my sit on top kayak out.

My mobile phone has a waterproof case which allows me to take good photos from the kayak. I started past the first Mark / race turn and gradually got closer to the racers without getting in their way and took a series of photos that I am very pleased with. Here are some examples:

Some of these and other photos may well be immortalised in some form of art soon. A good evening and helped recover boats and safety equipment before returning home for dinner.
