Walk, notice, photograph, draw, …
An early start as I woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep so on the seafront just before 6 am. I had a nice walk and some good photos to inspire art of various sorts.

Once home I completed my current pen and ink commission which is off to the client tomorrow.
At work I started a new watersports chest inspired by my sailing chest I drew for myself last year when we started sailing lessons via zoom in the first lockdown of 2020. I was unable to complete it as my light blue Posca markers are grinding to a halt – new stock needed.

I ordered more art postcard pads to use for my own sketching, original art postcard drawings and also for sales in the shop – these have become more popular recently. Also wallets to keep the pens at work more organised.
At work I drew one piece based on a boat with a hole in it but the background walls made it too dark to retail.

Some sales but a very quiet day. Tomorrow some art ordering and maybe some drawing based on a range of recent photos I am minded to try pieces of.
