Wednesday – drawing because I can and for myself
Today is not one of my Wednesday shifts. A great morning walking on Swanage pier, sitting on the lower deck and sketching one of the views. Followed by refreshments at the cafe The 1859. Then a walk on the seafront.
This afternoon a trip to Poole for the main purpose of eye tests and ordering new glasses – over lunch and then after the optician experience I drew again.
The two drawings shared here are the pier one and the second is the one sat with a mug of tea outside surf shop and cafe after choosing and ordering my new glasses.

The joy of just sitting and drawing for myself again, something that has been lacking at times as so much of my drawing focus goes into the shop. The first drawing will be appearing in the shop on the original art postcard stand from Saturday.
