Business thoughts have entered my head but today wasn’t a work day. The whole change of strategy issue is still circulating in my head too much but it has only just happened.

Work linked things – I did some work on a sticker delivery and collating of info so far for Dog Friendly. social – Swanage and Purbeck network. I have put a challenge out to our group to identify and recruit another 17 or more members during the upcoming English Tourism Week 22-31 May.

While this network is not an art project it links directly to the shop and welcoming visitors with dogs as I did previously at Artisans on the Beach with a dog bowl and dog treats. This continued alongside having a dog bowl at the start of our drive at Hillview and during Purbeck Art Weeks when I had my woodland open studio. it is also an example of local businesses working together.

I am a person who enjoys networking which I did a lot in my previous life as a teacher where Twitter allowed me to share ideas with other educators globally. That swallowed far too much of my time, now my focus is far more local and face to face contact after we can stop zoom meetings.

The next network idea to launch has started to be discussed informally for the “heart of Swanage” formation and marketing.
