Monday and inspired to draw some more art
Fairly quiet in terms of sales but quite a few browsing visitors today the shop. I await the full details of the governments plans for July 19th plus as I want to restart the ‘Art for fun’ table with visitors.
So I have worn the Watersports (in Swanage Bay) boilersuit today and worked on paper pieces.
Firstly, completion of the leaves on my Rest and Admire, Durlston view piece which is now ready for visit to printers on Thursday.

The aim now will be to gradually develop a range of A4 pieces suitable for prints and cards of different aspects of Durlston Country Park to the south of Swanage.
Then I looked through recent sketches and one was suitable to be used with added colour of our recent visit to The Blue Pool at Furzebrook.

Then looking through my photos with sailing clear in my mind after yesterday’s race a picture of one of the safety boats with race marks.

Some really good chats today with visitors from Furzebrook, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, Llantwit Major and more… it is interesting to hear where visitors have been coming to Swanage for many years and their favourite features and the impact of covid on changing their holiday plans in the last 18 months.
