Free drawings for friends
This is one of he things I used to do when I first started sketching back in 2015/2016. Then I had my phase of art bombing – leaving art on napkins in some cafes around 2016/2017 and maybe 2018.
Today we had been to visit Anne’s mum and went down to Burlington Chine and Down the Beach cafe. I drew a sketch of the cafe flags along the groyne. I presented this to Ash who runs the cafe. Always friendly, a hard worker and fellow local business.
Then we saw Faith, a local friend who was also having a drink. I drew the view of Peveril Point to the Marina Villas and the pier adding in some water craft. I presented this to her.
It was nice to draw, not photograph and just give pictures to local friends.
Also today replied re proof of new card which will now go for sale around the end of July as printer off on a holiday. Then framed three of my pieces that we have been waiting to get new frames for at home. I need to add d rings, and good picture cord so these can be hung at home. These will complete our lounge pen and ink wall of pieces and also Last of the leaves which will hang on the 2nd floor landing.
So some nice arty elements in my day.
