Photos around town and more folk festival drawing
We started the day with breakfast at the High Street cafe and I took a number of pictures around town, and from the pier.
Then it was off to the folk festival and more sketching.

Then bands playing.

Then a walk up to the top field to sketch the Purbeck letters.

I then decided to draw no more as it was getting darker and I was happy with the pieces I had done.
These pieces have been drawn in a Kraft paper sketchbook I bought recently A4 in size. I drew with line art – staedtler pigment fineliner and the Posca colouring pencils which I bought earlier in the year during lockdown. I enjoy adding colour with them while out side as it offers me 36 colours and the three trays of pencils are easy to carry while sat on straw bales, the floor etc.
The next two days I am back at the shop where I need to complete my fishing boat piece ready to go the printers on Wednesday and also a stock update and start to take some pieces of my display furniture apart ready to move a week on Tuesday to the new shop / studio. The encouraging thing this weekend has been the number of friends who have commented about the new shop of their own volition showing that my early marketing and publicity is paying off in terms of awareness.
