Today was day 22 and back at the shop. The prompt for today was ‘open’ and I drew while a lady and her two children did art for fun. I drew the shop front with the door and business open.
I also then removed paint on the window Dow to modify he two pumpkins to a smiley face and an u happy face.
This morning in total 7 did Art for fun taking the total number of participants up to 75. It was good to have three adults taking part and also discussing work in the shop. Some card sales. I also took more mount sets down to the shop and spare wooden boxes and checked my stock of art papers / card to add as extras options for art for fun as we head into the local half term.
I also did some reorganisation in the shop and reestablished the front display area swopping the A4 prints to the front window and A3 prints to side window sill. I did some work on the mount for commission completed recently – now having decided that the three paper sizes I offer commissions on are:
A5 £75, A4 £150 & A3 £250
If at any point I produce work at A2 size then a decision can come at that point. I also investigated some ideas with paper and sticker stock I was gifts soon after the shop opened.
