Inktober day 30 and what a day

So penultimate drawing for Inktober and the prompt was slither, I thought snakes and so did a number of other artists whose work I saw. I drew alongside two early art for fun participants today.

Today in Swanage we had the second annual trick or treat run by businesses in the town – it was popular! I ‘treated’ with art cards and only two children refused a card. I gave out 200 cards to 193 children and 7 adults. It was a great way to advertise the shop as they all got to look inside to see what was on offer. Also to extend knowledge of art,for fun as an activity. several were children who had down with art with me previously in my two visits to Swanage Primary.

Obviously with all this going on there was less art for fun take up with 9 people involved, so half term ended on 97 participants in 7 days. That also took the total over two months of opening (40 shop days) to 172 art for fun participants so far.

So with all this going on I still managed to sell a large print and some cards too. Very tired at the end of the day because of talking to so many. Also I hope a great positive advert for the shop and what I do and what I offer.
