So today I did an overdue task that is a mixture of admin. And colouring in – creating a new colour chart for the markers and a stocktake of which working markers I have. This is now useful in two main ways:
1) What pens and colours I have available to me for the art that I produce.
2) How many colours are available as my Art for fun offering
So, first task – find my A2 marker pad, range of fineliners, and a ruler. Then start to create template for chart. Once grid is drawn add colour names for the markers…then discover a more up to date colour list! Stop and redraw grid, admittedly better and add extra rows when needed.
The list I found online included a colour breakdown making my task easier, but not necessarily matching my previous labelling of marker wallets.
Start at the top of the chart and colour in each 2x2cm block of named colour if I can find it. Then add numbers of St for Studio pens / Sp for spare pen draw / later task Ho for home range – hence stock audit.
Gradually working through the colours. By the end of the day, that did include serving some customers, I have part of the greens and greys/ blacks left to complete. This is the chart as it stood at the end of today.
It is a piece of beauty to be honest as well and will be used to share the range of colours I use for my art and offer for use of in Art for fun.
Oh, and there will need to be some restocking or in some cases buying new colours for the first time.<div class='sharedaddy sd-block sd-like jetpack-likes-widget-wrapper jetpack-likes-widget-unloaded' id='like-post-wrapper-123416164-6716-65689fab1f206' data-src='https://widgets.wp.com/likes/#blog_id=123416164&post_id=6716&origin=andyknillart.com&obj_id=123416164-6716-65689fab1f206' data-name='like-post-frame-123416164-6716-65689fab1f206' data-title='Like or Reblog'><h3 class="sd-title">Like this:</h3><div class='likes-widget-placeholder post-likes-widget-placeholder' style='height: 55px;'><span class='button'><span>Like</span></span> <span class="loading">Loading...</span></div><span class='sd-text-color'></span><a class='sd-link-color'></a></div>
