Developing a new drawing

My tree pictures have become quite popular and the next request has been is there going to be an autumn colours piece – well so far the trees in Durlston Country Park have not turned and so the stand of trees used for Last of the Leaves and Summer Leaves have not turned. I took a photo last week of some autumnal leaves so started a piece using those today.

The background is a blurred background of canopy cover and other trees. So trunks filled in next.

Then to make the background green a deeper shade I used a first layer of Amethyst (a purple / violet marker).

Using Pine marker I added the background leaves cover.

I will continue with the drawing on My shop day on Friday. I finished the afternoon with three participant s for Art for fun.
