How could those two be connected? I know it’s hard enough trying to sketch in a stationary kayak let alone while swimming in the sea or open water.
I am attending an event organised by ‘Toes in the water‘ who are open water swimmers who also like art. I am attending as an artist who likes Watersports and will be wearing my 2021 hand drawn boilersuit with images of said sports. I will also be taking my art for fun activity with me and some of my water related art.
Apparently the day will include a dip in the river Itchen – I won’t be doing that part of the day.
In Southampton – fancy attending? I look forward to see how others have linked art and swimming. We have a number of local photographers who use it to record what they see when swimming in the sea so it should be very interesting.
