Is it only 9 days…
…since I wrote that my days at the unit are studio days with the bonus of visitors sometimes and sales maybe. Today a dull, misty, cloudy day
Yes, a very quiet day. Anne came down with me, came back for lunch together; shop son visited; son and client visited. One visitor while his wife went to shop in Chococo. Hailing from Hungerford, we talked about my work, style and he selected the Views from my window box and bought it. It was a pleasure to see the idea of different weather views being enjoyed – a real bonus.
I did two drawings both A6 original postcards. The first based on meeting local outdoor instructors training yesterday in the bay, first while out kayaking then as we went for a walk after lunch.
Then a fun piece based on reading about Couch to 5k scheme recently when considering my own exercise choices. Some clockwork Christmas cracker toys from Christmas 2014.
Also today a window notice to back up the in-line posts about shutting on the next two Saturdays for Pantomime commitments.
This afternoon, lots of memories from photos of family occasions and holidays especially but not inspired to draw anything else, now also needing at some point to decide on more wooden tray frame / hexagonal box pieces to restock the shop as others have sold. Then tiredness set in and my first weak day re. Snacking and biscuits emergency supply in shop raided.
A gentle evening and watching a new recorded series – this is ur habit at present, we allow ourselves a couple of episodes if up to an hour long. Then some slow down time with listening to music – this evening it it ‘The Last Inklings‘.
Tomorrow… a new studio day – save some energy for Tech rehearsal from 6.30 to 10pm in the evening!
