Sketch at lunchtime
Today was trip to the printers and then over to the Isle of Portland near Weymouth. We started at Portland Bill.

We think the group were watching seabirds but later on the same side of the Bill we watched a seal for a little while. A clearing of the cobwebs. In the distance was an aircraft carrier on the horizon and we saw one lynx helicopter too..
The Purbeck coastline was alternately in the shade of the clouds or shafts of sunlight on Gadds Cliff, Swyre Head and Worbarrow Bay.

Then the art cafe we went to see was closed this week – we hadn’t found that info online so on to the centre in the Lee of Chesil beach and a sketch of the view onto the west end of the fleet.

Also driving through the Dorset countryside admiring the lines and shapes of nature and spotting sheep, cattle, ponies, horses and Alpacacas.
A nice trip out and cards for me and this weeks delivery for Lucy T too.
