Today we had a walk and I spent some time looking at the section of coastline in my current panorama drawing. On todays walk I took a couple of extra photos to refer back to for vegetation / exposed geology in the cliffs. Also what lies at the end of some houses.
When I have been drawing other local scenes a return visit has meant a paddle out in the kayak to take a closer look at Ballard Point from the water below or looking at the relative positions of part of the coastline.
This is where local art has a benefit as I can return to the place I am drawing easily.
