Today while at the shop I added additional layers and pen detail over marker layers to complete my piece of Durlston cliffs and Anvil Point lighthouse.
On Tuesday I had drawn my initial line drawing in pigment fineliner. As the above photo shows I had started to add the darker rocks at the foot of the cliffs and some areas of shadow,
I started with the geology and added to each of the Cliff areas with a base colour of grey or champagne. Additional layers added shadow, depth and tone with colours including Primrose.
Then I draw in fineliner to show the structure within the limestone cliffs.
I then moved onto vegetation and some surface fineliner detail.
Then I added colour layers with herb green, pesto and slate on the wilder grass layers.
Finally I added white spray and wave edges using the Gelly roll white pen.<div class='sharedaddy sd-block sd-like jetpack-likes-widget-wrapper jetpack-likes-widget-unloaded' id='like-post-wrapper-123416164-6042-62bd7000cba1d' data-src='https://widgets.wp.com/likes/#blog_id=123416164&post_id=6042&origin=andyknillart.com&obj_id=123416164-6042-62bd7000cba1d' data-name='like-post-frame-123416164-6042-62bd7000cba1d' data-title='Like or Reblog'><h3 class="sd-title">Like this:</h3><div class='likes-widget-placeholder post-likes-widget-placeholder' style='height: 55px;'><span class='button'><span>Like</span></span> <span class="loading">Loading...</span></div><span class='sd-text-color'></span><a class='sd-link-color'></a></div>
