Developing a new drawing
Today while at the shop I added additional layers and pen detail over marker layers to complete my piece of Durlston cliffs and Anvil Point lighthouse.

On Tuesday I had drawn my initial line drawing in pigment fineliner. As the above photo shows I had started to add the darker rocks at the foot of the cliffs and some areas of shadow,

Saturday layers

I started with the geology and added to each of the Cliff areas with a base colour of grey or champagne. Additional layers added shadow, depth and tone with colours including Primrose.
Then I draw in fineliner to show the structure within the limestone cliffs.
I then moved onto vegetation and some surface fineliner detail.

Then I added colour layers with herb green, pesto and slate on the wilder grass layers.
Finally I added white spray and wave edges using the Gelly roll white pen.
