100th birthday cards
My mother in law celebrated her 100th birthday today and until you celebrate someone’s 100th birthday do you find out how easy or difficult it is to find a suitable card as the ideal is seen as a card with the number on.
So we went for smaller helium balloons rather than huge numbers. A cake that was semi-naked apparently – that was an interesting explanation to overhear. Candles – three digits instead of 100 individual candles.
The best known 100th card comes with a picture of the sender on it and yes she had one of those. Vi used to work at a primary school in Essex where she lived then – today she had a card from the current generation of pupils and it was fantastic.
