Illness deflects attention

I had to shut the shop yesterday (Wednesday) and will need to do so again on Friday (tomorrow) as my current chest infection / asthma combination means that I can suddenly burst into fits of coughing. Not conducive to making visitors / customers feeling safe. I hope to be open on Saturday if possible but know that the health needs to be much better to do so.

This illness is now allowing me some time out on the seafront distancing from others to get some daily fresh air. However focusing on anything for long isn’t working and suddenly I lose the chance to be gregarious, the part of the shop role that I enjoy the most.

I am keeping an eye on my mental health as this is the sort of time that I tend to dip and creativity is also impacted.

Looking forwards…I will come out of this, hopefully sooner, t rather than later.
