Today we noticed:
The state of the northern unmanaged section of the beach
The smoothness of the chalk pebbles
How I managed to swim much further than on my first two swims the other week
The sea felt warmer today
We didn’t get the possible thundery showers
Pip Hare returned in Medallia her IMOCA 60 yacht to Poole – we saw her sail past Swanage (we recognised the boat not Pip individually).
How much more space we had upstairs once the old sofa finally went to the recycling centre
Counting boats in and out on a race night with 30 competitors is quite hard
Derek at the sailing club knows an impressively large amount about the history of Swanage and we found out many new things.
My legs still ache two days after sailing for the first time in ages – not a surprise to be honest.
We have Swifts nesting in the eaves of the building
