Lunch and a sketch
When I am at the shop I don’t sketch often as the view is the same every shop day re. commercial Road. So I take the opportunity to sketch when in different places. Today we had lunch at Java and sat in a different place and after finishing before Anne I took the opportunity to sketch a new view.

Art came up in conversation after a morning coffee at Studio South as I met Ben the other proprietor for the first time and mentioned I was the artist of the cafe sketch that Sophie had put in a frame by the window.
Yes I noticed the views, clouds especially today, but as a day away from the shop, art was a small, part of the day.
