Online presence
I have always been active online whether in my previous career as a teacher especially in the last 10 years of it. Also on social media.
AndyKnillArt and AndyKnillArt Studio are covered by a number of bases online, hence my use of Linktr.ee as my web address to send people to as it allows people to find links to a range of outlets for me. In quieter times, like now I find myself reflecting whether I have too much going on online and need to simplify it.
I am currently on:
1) WordPress for this blog and linked gmail account that I use professionally
2) Yell.com linked Wix website for the studio
3) Weebly based online shop and linked to my Square card reader
4) TikTok for occasional videos
5) Twitter as AndyKnillArt
6) Facebook as AndyKnillArt, AndyKnillArtStudio, a personal account and TheHeartofSwanage
7) Instagram as above for (6)
I think the answer is clearly Yes. So I need to do something about it and also to make aspects of it work more efficiently as a way of sharing updates on new pieces and online shopping offer although this has never been a big thing for the business and I much prefer selling to customers face to face where possible.
Some more thinking and actual planning needed rather than knee jerk reactions.
Thoughts welcomed.
