A great day for drawing, just zero sales

Being a shopkeeper has sales needs to pay your bills. Today no good news on that side, however I had a good time hosting 8 people doing art for fun and at 230 participants in shop year 2 the figures are already edging towards 3 months ahead of the year 1 figures.

So, the first drawing – a young man who was very clear when gp he had finished.

Asked by Dad – add more? No

I worked on a drawing of my son Charlie at a talk at work about water safety, I gifted him the drawing later.

Then a regular young girl without her brother and his usual Minecraft creeper drawings, I was introduced to Shopkin – that was a new term for me, I chose to try drawing it too and gifted my drawing.

A shopkin apparently

I then started to try a drawing of a traction engine based on a still from a friend’s video – also gifted later in the day and I was pleased with how it went.

Traction engine, which I signed on request

Two regulars – mum and son. O got cold so we ended up with him in two of my jackets which absolutely swamped him but kept him warm.

It doesn’t look that large on me.
Whale, see next pic and theatre performance
It was the Yoda appearance

I did two boating pics based on the club dinghy I sail the most a RS Feva X-LARGE and then one of a friend kayaking with dolphins.

The dinghy I normally take part in club races in
Work in progress – initial line work done

Two sisters joined me for some drawing and also 3 of a local family I have hosted many times and two of the children have drawn with me at their primary school too.

This has been hidden in the shop
Andy – you need to have pencils to draw with!
I see a new repeat visitor started today
This sister enjoyed drawing but claimed to be less arty

I got to draw 6 pieces, I got to gift several of them on the day to participants or local friends, several new people tried art for fun as well as repeat visitors.

Ok no sales but I had a fun days drawing and that’s what counts too.
