Annual Card Sales update
So the last two years on January 7 I have looked at the top 20 selling cards since AndyKnillArt started and started to look at which cards have sold best in a particular year.
Total sales
Top 5 – 4 are Christmas cards.
2023 sales
Only one of the top 5 is a Christmas card nd sales of these were noticeably down as were the sales overall in November and December – cost of living crisis is a major factor as art will always be a luxury item.

So do I aim to sell less cards?
No, and nor shall I be changing my sales price that I have maintained since my first cards were put on sale in 2017. Yes my unit profit has reduced but they are the best advertisement for my art and have led to many other sales, commissions and visitors.
I was told when I started to sell cards – and it’s advice I still give to others. Today the total sales of cards passed 8700, I call that a success.
