Rested and now…
So I have had 10 days away from the shop and home. Relaxed?yes; ready for new creativity? Yes…
A break has helped, I have sketched a bit, found pieces that I left with cafes 2.5 years ago still on display (hugely grateful), take photos, visited art supply shops, discussed tools.
Tomorrow my return is October 1 and the start of the 31 day challenges that are; Inktober and Boatober – daily drawing challenges based on a word prompt and a picture prompt in order. Potentially 62 drawings this month to practice with. Also still doing 100 days of drawing prompts and I will be working on things to add to my portfolio in the shop too.
Last October I drew 13.45 metres of art panels s a part of ‘Flooding Swanage with Art’ which goes back up this week and I will be taking part in Open classroom day showing local pupils the art and connected sea defence role that links to my geography background.i will offer my monthly art trail walk as last year too and I get the art I drew on exhibition on the seafront for another winter.
