Stock Taking – a necessary evil

Today and yesterday I have been doing a regular (about quarterly) stock take of my Winsor and Newton ProMarkers stock in the shop. Not stock to sell but as art tools. This is important for me as they are my tool for paper based work. Also, I let anyone come in / come to the shop when warmer and sat outside, and use the same markers I do to take part in my free activity called “Art for Fun”. In recent years I have had requests to use my Posca markers, but those I keep to myself.

People question my sanity in allowing anyone to use my art tools, but appreciating their worth / cost means that in the majority of cases they are treated with the utmost respect. In all the time I have let them be used over 6 years only one pen has been deliberately damaged.

Any way see what you think about the video. I will make technique clips as well going forwards too.
