Practise, practise, practise…
Today I completed two A6 studies, drawings from photographs, one from yesterday’s walk and one from my link with the Hyogo junior sailing club in Japan.

I have now completed two A3 works I had already started and then 23 A6 studies / original art post cards. The studies started with just pen and ink pieces and increasingly I am doing more ProMarker pieces.
I am conscious of looking at a range of topics to draw. As I have shared before I have three sketch pads going:
One is pictures based on our daily walks
Two is looking out of the window
Three is sailing and water sports
I am conscious that I have a few things I want to do during lockdown. I am about to start some valentines cards for clients. I have a new boiler suit to start drawing. I have new designs for the Santa over series to design for 2021 (I know…). I also want to try some other types of art out that include some simple printing as I learnt with Art Workshop 3 years ago. The key element is apart from direct clients work to not put myself under pressure and enjoy my art.
Keep watching as I will keep sharing what I get up to on my Art journey.
