Two more shop days…
I didn’t blog yesterday, as it was v late by time I remembered and thought would give you a break. So two more shop days with one more this month tomorrow.
Today my sales meant that I surpassed my previous record of sales for April / May combined for 2018 by April 27 and shop has only been open since the 12th. my art sales since having the shop have increased, as have the number of commissions I have had placed with me.
On Monday I drew two more small wooden box pieces and added to my sealife hat and Pip O’Hare wooden box plus some painting of trim on the shop counter.
Today I completed the sealife hat and have now started a sealife box for fun / an experiment.
I am spending most of the sales day from 10 until 5 sat outside the shop in the sun until early afternoon. I have to remember to get up and move from time to time so that I don’t seize up. The shop has had a number of visitors happy to discover us and a reasonable proportion of bought something too.
Today my last commissioned piece, an 18th birthday card went out and for the first time since mid January I haven’t got any commissions to work on, plenty of other pieces though as part of my annual plan.
