Day off, but commission progress and new product delivered

Today was a non work day but I still added to the commission wooden box and also when returning home from trip out today my new product – calendar for 2022 had arrived. Also delivered two stickers to business that had paid for dogfriendly.social stickers. Also posted for ‘The heart of Swanage’, so not a day off but more time spent on other things.

The commission box is onto the adding colour using Posca paint markers and I have my sets of 5m, 7m and 3m markers set out for easy access as usually kept in a larger plastic box jumbled up.

The calendars look good and feature 12 of my colour pieces to share the changes in Purbeck throughout the year. I opted for a slim wall calendar format. This is my first attempt at calendar sales. They will be launched on Saturday June 5 and will sell when I am in the shop. My initial order is 50 with the option to return for more if sales justify it – it really is an unknown. They will sell for £9.50, more news once they are up for sale and we see how others respond to them.

First time, fingers crossed they do well

I also continued to develop a daily post for ‘The heart of Swanage’ and delivered some stickers to new dogfriendly.social locations and provided some contact details for The Boilerhouse Gallery and Studios who want to make it more prominent in their publicity.

I sketched while having a coffee on the pier this morning – I took photos as I didn’t finish a long panoramic piece in the time sat there.
