Shop in a quiet courtyard
Today, the Monday after half term, the town had gone from manic to a few visitors and children with parents because of INSET days.
Java opposite was closed to give crew day off after a bonkers week – spent much of today listening to visitor comments while I sat out in a warm but less bright courtyard. The fishmongers is shut…said many people too.
Anyway I had a few visitors, I sold some original art postcards – 3 pen and ink sailing cards and view from pier. Postcards sold and three Christmas cards. A few visitors from the nearby ‘mainland’ and some visitors from further afield.
I completed the wooden box commission details around chimney pots. I worked on design ideas for a project. Then this afternoon I did a Durlston Castle A6 card, and started a fishing boats one. My mind would not always settle. To be honest after mental health low yesterday I was pleased to be at the shop at all today.

A nice quiet walk this evening and noticing the light in the bay, two evening walks without devices so no step counts or photos.
