World Ocean day
Today the theme for 2021 is people whose livelihood comes from the sea. I shared this in a variety of ways today.
On my new ‘the heart of Swanage’ initiative on Instagram and Facebook I shared the opening details of our local fishmongers with Julia who is one of the first UK female master fishmongers. Always willing to help customers with ideas on using the local catch she sells.

I posted pictures of boats and art works linked to the oceans

I also completed a new fishing boats piece started yesterday.

Some very good chats with customers / visitors in the shop today. A guy new to the area who also bought my first calendar and asked me to autograph it, so I did. we talked places to visit for good views and walks and I invited him to drop by again anytime – it’s what makes he Swanage community a great place to live. I talked Posca pens and ProMarkers re different surfaces.
At the sailing training this evening arranging for some of my Waszp foiling works to go to the national championships soon – it is great to make friends who are willing to try this for you.
A good day.
