Developing new work
So today I sold some art and I started some new art.
Sam Whaley who also belongs to Swanage Sailing club is a British sailing squad dinghy sailer. He competes in ILCA (Laser), RS Aero and Waszp (foiling dinghy), this weekend he won the 2021 National Championship for the Waszp and took some of my art with him in case anyone wanted to buy some as a favour to me. His is a thank you from me based on a photo I took from Swanage Bay.
As many of you know I now have a number of hand drawn suits – boiler suit or decorator bib and braces (dungaree like). Today I started a new one which is to be my Watersports suit. I didn’t have a plan and like several other suits it will evolve with time and include Watersports seen in Swanage Bay of a large variety of types.
Later I started a draft idea for a mural I have been approached about drawing but have not had time to get near so far.
