It’s a small world

Today a visitor came into the shop who had received the original drawing of “Sailing from Chapmans Pool” as an engagement present from her parents. They bought it during PAW 2018 from my Open Studio because the proposal had been on the stone bench at the St Aldhelm’s end of the valley of steps between Emmetts Cliff and St Aldhelm’s Head.

Apparently the couple now live in Washington DC, USA and will email me a picture of it on their wall. Also planning to bring her husband to come in and see the shop.

Today’s other achievement has been good progress on a new A3 drawing of Golden Horizon emerging from behind Ballard Down.
